I know it's been a while since I've posted. January brought on a whole bunch of new things! We all know that my photo-a-day challenges for the past 2 To start, a whole new ball game at work has appeared in front of me. We'd gotten a new manager at work, who changed a lot of things. While I agree with a lot of the changes, it made a big difference on the way our store runs, and it did take some getting used to! Another blip on the work note, is that I have switched stores. I am now back at the store I was rehired at after I came back from Japan. I've been there for a few days now, and nothing has really changed. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I'm glad to see a few people I got on with before hand, but I'm really worried about the people that aren't so excited to have me back. I've already been warned about a few people with this mentality, so it's hard to feel excited about going to a place where you KNOW people don't like you. I'm trying to continue to be a ray of sunshine, but this heavy rain is starting to take it's toll.
Yuta, on the other hand, has been having a good time at work! He's recently been promoted to a supervisor position, and is beginning to learn how to manage everything that a supervisor does! It's been only 5 months, and I'm so proud of him and his accomplishments!
England plans have been pushed back just a tiny bit, in case Yuta can't apply for his visa while out of his home country. And because Japan only gets about 500 spots, so we might even have to wait until the new year for him to even apply! So it's most likely looking like January 2014 now for England. But at least that gives us plenty of time to save our support funds!
